"Symposium on Surface Science & Nanotechnology -25th Anniversary of SSSJ Kansai-" (SSSN-Kansai) is an international symposium for the 25th anniversary of the Kansai branch of the Surface Science Society of Japan. This symposium highlights recent achievements in surface and interfacial science, and nanotechnology. Major topics include the structure, electronic states, and dynamic processes of a wide range of surfaces and interfaces, novel instrumentation and methodological development, and applications of surface science to energy and environmental technologies. Interdisciplinary studies and discussion on the future directions of the fields are strongly encouraged.
